I haven't tried or even seen Nigella's recipe (I've seen the recipe, I haven't seen her present it). However, I have tried this one and it is excellent; real Southern fried chicken. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-flay/fried-chicken-with-ancho-honey-recipe/index.html
It uses buttermilk instead of milk and the chicken isn't boiled in the buttermilk, it is marinated overnight. In Sweden you could use 1 liter filmjölk for the buttermilk which is a sour milk. You could omit the chili pepper if you wanted, it does make it a bit spicy. I also use one chicken and cut down a bit on the marinade. Conversions: 1 quart is roughly 1 liter, teaspoon = tsk, tablespoon = msk, 1 cup = 240 ml. Let me know if you try it. Sorry this is in English, but my written Swedish is terrible. Let me know if you try it. Trevlig helg.
